I loved the characters in this novel. There were many subplots that in the end explained the original storyline.

The Shadow of the Wind
I circled this book for months deciding it was not my style. How wrong. I loved it. Th elanguage drew me to the place inside the novel. I loved the characters and the twists and turns.
